Low Country Love Matchmaking was founded by Talya Shoup, an experienced matchmaker and dating coach passionate about helping singles create meaningful, lasting connections. With over a decade of experience guiding individuals toward love, Talya combines expertise with a personal touch to make the journey enjoyable and successful. 

As a busy mother of three who found love for herself after divorce, she especially loves working with singles who are "starting over," since she understands the challenges that come with rebuilding life & finding love after loss - and with children in tow!

Her matchmaking career began in Berlin, Germany, where she hosted exclusive mixers for single professionals seeking genuine connections. From those beginnings, she expanded to one-on-one matchmaking, helping clients across Europe and the United States find compatible partners.

With a professional background in hospitality & HR/recruitment, Talya is a natural people connector who understands people, relationships, and what makes a great match. Her approach blends personalized matchmaking with strategic dating coaching, offering clients both the introductions and the confidence they need to thrive in today’s dating world.
