At Lowcountry Matchmaking, we believe the world is a better place when people are connected, and we are passionate about helping singles reach their relationship goals. Whether through matchmaking, dating coaching, or a combination of the two, we meet each client where they are and work closely with them to ensure they are able to create the relationship they want.
Our Founder
Talya Shoup
Talya Shoup is a certified matchmaker and dating coach for discerning singles seeking meaningful, lasting partnership.
With a decade of experience supporting singles around the world, she is known for her intuitive insight, personal support, and the passion she brings to helping her clients find their person.
Her career in the stating industry began in Berlin, Germany - where she curated singles events for accomplished professionals before moving into private, one-on-one matchmaking across Europe and the United States, both through her own firm and as a consultant to two of the world’s leading matchmaking agencies.
Blending strategic dating coaching with exceptional introductions, and consistent, ongoing feedback and support. Talya equips her clients with confidence and the tools they need to make their relationship aspirations reality. Having found love herself after divorce, she understands the challenges of modern dating and brings empathy, sophistication, and real-world understanding to every client journey.
Based in Savannah & Atlanta, she serves clients throughout Georgia, South Carolina, & Florida through Lowcountry Matchmaking, and internationally through Talya Catherine Matchmaking.
